LEGO bricks aren’t just for playtime — they’re powerful tools for hands-on scientific learning. Jenna Srivastava, an 8th grade science teacher at Berlin Middle School, received a grant from the Olentangy Education Foundation (OEF) to purchase LEGO Education SPIKE coding kits. While students are busy building, programming, and testing their models, they are also strengthening engineering skills, critical thinking, and persistence through real-world problem solving.
A local family established a new fund in memory of their twins who passed away in 2008. Parents Katie and Jeff Kieselbach, along with their four sons, Chase (10th grade), Andrew (9th grade), Grant (9th grade), and Lane (7th grade), joined the Olentangy Education Foundation (OEF) to announce the new fund on March 12, 2026.
