The Olentangy Education Foundation has made the decision to cancel our ZOOlentangy fundraiser this year. While it wasn't a hard decision to make, as the health of the community is top priority, it certainly is a disappointment.
That said, OEF is committed to continue funding teacher and staff grants in the fall. Our ongoing goal is to enhance the education experience and promote innovation via these staff grants. In a time when teachers are forced to be innovative in how they educate their students, we are excited to see what they will come forward with in their applications this year and look forward to supporting them in this unprecedented time.

Dear Olentangy Community,
The Olentangy Education Foundation's Staff Commendation Program is a wonderful way to recognize a staff employee who has gone above and beyond to make a difference this year. This unprecedented health crisis has caused many hardships and challenges but it has been truly inspiring, and heartening to see the outpouring of love, compassion, hope and understanding across the entire school district.
OEF recognizes and appreciates that our school district is rich with talented and dedicated employees. EVERY staff member has an important role, responsibility and stake in the safety, security and success of our students. The staff commendation program provides our community an opportunity to acknowledge teachers and staff members across the district who have helped to make a child's school year a special one through a written commendation.
Through May 22, 2020, an online staff commendation may be submitted for ANY staff member, including teachers, administrators, bus drivers, support staff, food service and coaches. The completed commendations will be shared with the respective staff members and their principal(s)/supervisor(s).
